Our wedding week was filled with excitement. The festivities started Thursday night with our
rehearsal and rehearsal dinner in the Cockerel Butterfly Center at the
Houston Museum of Natural Science. The
evening included a catered buffet dinner and a private IMAX screening exclusively for the
wedding party, family, and guests. Many of us then headed out to a local pub,
The Richmond
Arms Pub, and then things got a little crazy. We had more fun in the parking
lot where we spent 40 minutes of gaining a crowd of onlookers at our shenanigans.
What a long night of free drinks can bring out in people :-)
On Friday, we had a reception at our new home
for everyone who came in town for the wedding. After dinner and
a few toasts, many of us headed out to play Laser Tag. We all had
tons-O-fun, but you just couldn't turn a corner without getting
shot.
The wedding music was provided by
Janet & Robert Peri, and singing by Mary Thompson. After a
couple of words were said and a little kneeling, we were officially
married at 12:37pm!!! The reception went off without a
hitch, and it was definitely the most dancing we have ever done.
The guys were lined up to dance with Terri but I was still able to get
in a dance or two .
Now my favorite part... the
honeymoon! We took a cruise out of the Port of Houston on Norwegian
Cruise Lines for a 7 day cruise to Cancun, Cozemel, and Roatan
Island-Honduras. It was the first cruise for the both of us and was a
great first experience.
Upon return from our
honeymoon... We lived happily ever after.
