Continental Airlines had a sale... so what's a family (Liz, Terri, & Rob) to do?... Take a frequent flyer mileage run!

Unable to pass up such a great deal for an airline trip, Terri, Liz, & Rob headed off to Bangkok for a week to tour this very cheap paradise on the other side of the world which was 13 hours ahead (CST).  Full of people, shopping malls, palaces, and people, the gang had a very fun, but tiring trip.  The flight alone was 23 hours of travel (with layover).

We'll maybe it was 18 inches... but the gang took time for a workout and relaxation.

Terri & Liz walk the bridge and ride the train!

Liz enjoys the boat ride           Terri takes a Thailanese cooking class          Liz & Terri are
                                                                                                                                                    bombed over
                                                                                                                                                    about being in
                                                                                                                                                    Thailand.

Phone calls from the hotel to the States exceeded $3.00/min, so Terri discovered a pay phone down the street that would call the States for as little as $0.20/min... So this was where she would call me every evening at about 11am to say goodnight before she went to sleep.

Relaxing Terri

Terri picks out patterns for new suits for Bret, Scott, and Bob.  Thailand is known for its quality, but very, very cheap business suits.  So the gang loaded up with about 13 suites to haul back to the States.  Rob clowns around in the dressing room.

Terri, Rob, Liz, (plus Scott & Abby) show off some
of the bounty they returned with from Thailand.
